1. The housing protects the ONE from water up to 3 meters. The camera, however, is not specifically designed for 360 underwater video capture – the refraction that light undergoes as it passes through water can result in stitching lines.
2. By using the FreeCapture function, users can reframe the best parts of an underwater 360 video as standard, “flat” content to avoid stitching lines.
3. When using the ONE in a low-temperature environment, it’s best to use anti-fog inserts along with the waterproof housing to prevent condensation from affecting your shots.
4. When in an environment where water- and dust-proofing aren’t necessary, it’s best to use the ONE without housing.
